The default

Where your spare minutes actually go

When you have five minutes, a short-video feed is the easiest thing to open. It's built to keep you watching, not to leave you with anything.

Instead of another 47 pieces of content you won't remember, open one idea worth keeping.

Five minutes becomes thirty.

There's no last page. Autoplay and endless scrolling remove every natural place to stop.

You finish, and remember nothing.

A lot went past your eyes, and there's no single thing you could explain tomorrow.

Everything else starts to feel slow.

Constant novelty makes longer reading and focus harder to come back to.

Huseyin, who built SoRead

Why SoRead exists

I wanted to solve my scrolling addiction.

I personally built this tool for myself, to get rid of hours of meaningless scrolling which was frying my brain :)

I wanted to replace scrolling at bedtime but it was difficult to know where to start to find good content to read, content that might intrigue me and make me want to go deeper on it.
One day I said, what if I make an app that provides me intriguing knowledge on my favorite domains with zero effort. Then SoRead came out.
